How do I become a Tin Whistle?
The Tin Whistles organization is a social group with the purpose of promoting the customs, traditions, courtesies, and rules of golf at Pinehurst Country Club. Membership in the Tin Whistles is by invitation only. Candidates for membership must be supported by three existing members and must undergo a thorough vetting process before their application for admission can be submitted to the Board of Governors for approval.
What are the requirements to become a Tin Whistle?
To be considered to become a Tin Whistle, one must be a member of the Pinehurst Country Club in good standing for at least 18 months. Furthermore, the member must hold a Classic or higher golf membership. It is expected that a Tin Whistle will participate in The Tin Whistles Golf Activities, will participate in The Tin Whistles Volunteer Activities, and support The Tin Whistles Scholarship Foundation.
How do I donate to The Tin Whistles Scholarship Foundation?
The purpose of the Foundation is to award college scholarships to deserving graduates of Moore County, North Carolina high schools and to raise proceeds sufficient to fund those scholarships. To donate to The Tin Whistles Scholarship Foundation, click on the following link.
