2025 marks the 18th year of the TYGA Tin Whistles’ Tour Championship, an annual series of tournaments designed to foster young talent in the game of golf. A minimum of six 9-hole tournaments take place at various local golf courses, featuring boys and girls aged 6 through 12 as participants.
 
The tournaments, hosted by The Tin Whistles in collaboration with the Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA), are part of the summer schedule organized by the Carolinas Golf Association.
 
At the end of the season, the player with the best scores relative to par, based on a required minimum number of tournaments, is crowned the Tour Champion.
